SUPERVISION SERVICES FOR LPC LICENSURE CANDIDATES
Jana offers private, clinical supervision for post-graduate LPC Licensure candidates in the State of Colorado. The purpose of clinical supervision is to help you master the skills necessary to become a competent, ethical practitioner and to obtain a license for independent practice. At the same time, while you are in supervision, Jana will carry the ethical and legal responsibility for all your action with clients. Therefore, the success of supervision and realization of the goal of recommendation for licensure requires a relationship built of mutual respect and trust, as well as exemplary performance on the supervisee’s part.
Jana will take the responsibility to create a positive and supportive learning environment, give timely and helpful feedback, and be available as needed. As a supervisee, you will be expected to be an active participant in the supervision process, which includes your willingness to openly review work with your clients and accept supervision feedback about that work in order to learn and improve. Jana uses an eclectic and collaborative model of supervision; incorporating different modalities with each supervisee.
All information shared in supervision is strictly confidential as required by the Colorado State Board of Licensed Professional Counselor Examiners, the Colorado Mental Health Statute, and the HIPAA. The supervisee is required to abide by the laws, ethics, and rules of the state of Colorado and of the Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors in Colorado and the Colorado Mental Health Statute.
